Mid-Century Danish Teak Sideboard, c.1960
Graphic, elegant, and well-proportioned, this Danish sideboard from the 1960s is crafted from teak and teak veneer over slatted wood. Its design highlights the clean lines and functional simplicity characteristic of post-war Scandinavian furniture.
It opens with two drawers and two sliding doors that reveal storage space with interior shelving, along with a drop-down door that provides access to a glass shelf—ideal for storing glassware or bar accessories.
The sideboard shows a slight swelling of the wood along the top edge, as well as traces of use and patina of time, all visible in the photos. Nonetheless, it remains in good overall condition—sturdy, visually appealing, and of very fine craftsmanship.
A perfect example of Danish mid-century craftsmanship.
Each piece is carefully cleaned and, when necessary, restored with respect for its original conception.
Subtle signs of use and natural patina may remain, as part of its lived history.
