These Terms and Conditions of Sale (the \u201cT&C\u201d) define the conditions under which Galerie Marel offers for sale, both remotely and offline, vintage or collectible furniture, objects and lighting (the \u201cProducts\u201d).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The website is intended to present the Products and to facilitate contact with the SELLER<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Products<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Galerie Marel offers vintage, collectible or second-hand Products, including furniture, decorative objects and lighting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By nature, these Products are old and may show signs of use, patina, wear or imperfections, which are normal and fully assumed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certain Products may be offered \u201cas is\u201d or with possible restoration, when expressly stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each Product description presents its essential characteristics. Photographs aim to provide the most faithful representation possible, without guaranteeing exact color or material rendering across different screens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Orders<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Contact is made via the website, email or phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Any order is subject to mandatory written confirmation (by email) between the CLIENT<\/strong> and the SELLER<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An order is considered final only after written confirmation from the SELLER, including Product availability, final price and delivery or collection terms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SELLER reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order in the event of Product unavailability or for any legitimate reason.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Prices<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Product prices are expressed in euros, inclusive of all taxes (VAT included).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Delivery, packaging and transport costs are not included and are subject to a specific quotation, submitted to the CLIENT for approval prior to finalizing the sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The final price is confirmed in writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Payment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Payments are made exclusively in euros, using the following methods:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Secure credit card payment link sent by email<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cash payment, only in case of on-site collection and with prior agreement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    No payments are processed directly through the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The sale is concluded only after written validation and effective receipt of payment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6. Delivery \/ Collection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    6.1 Delivery Area<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Products may be delivered within the European Union and internationally, exclusively upon prior quotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6.2 Terms<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Transport, packaging arrangements and indicative delivery times are defined on a case-by-case basis depending on the Product and delivery location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, delivery quotations correspond to curbside or doorstep delivery only, without installation, placement or assembly inside the premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Any specific request (stairs, installation, complex access) must be subject to prior agreement and an additional quotation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The CLIENT is responsible for verifying dimensions and access constraints prior to confirming the order.
    The SELLER cannot be held liable for delivery impossibility due to such constraints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    6.3 Receipt<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

    Upon receipt, the CLIENT must check the condition of the package and the Product.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Any anomaly must be reported to the carrier and confirmed in writing to the SELLER within a reasonable time, and no later than forty-eight (48) hours after delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Clients are strongly advised to photograph the packaging upon receipt and retain all packaging materials in case of transport-related claims.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    7. Right of Withdrawal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    In accordance with applicable law, the CLIENT generally has fourteen (14) days from receipt of the Product to exercise the right of withdrawal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    However, given the nature of the Products:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Products are unique, vintage or collectible pieces<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Certain deliveries involve specific logistics<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Return, packaging and transport costs are borne exclusively by the CLIENT<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Products must be returned in the condition in which they were shipped, including original packaging when provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Any Product damaged, incomplete or altered by the CLIENT may not be eligible for a full refund.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      In case of depreciation due to handling beyond what is necessary to assess the Product, the SELLER reserves the right to apply a deduction corresponding to actual costs incurred, within legal limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      8. Warranties \/ Product Condition<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      Products are old and do not necessarily comply with current technical or safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Visible defects, signs of age and inherent characteristics of vintage Products are described and accepted by the CLIENT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The CLIENT acknowledges purchasing collectible items with full knowledge of their condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      9. Liability<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      The CLIENT is solely responsible for the use of the Products, which may involve inherent fragility due to age, materials or construction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      The SELLER shall not be held liable for direct or indirect damage resulting from:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • Use of the Products<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Natural aging<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • Improper or non-recommended use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
