Reclining lion, vintage 1:1 reproduction in plaster, most likely from Les Ateliers d’Art des Musées nationaux, of the “Lion couché”, a basalt sculpture found in Byblos or Beyrouth, from the Achaemenid period, circa 400-300 BC, and part of the permanent collection of the Louvre.
