Made in France by Verre Lumière around 1980.
After graduating from the Camondo school of architecture in Paris in 1959, French designer Sabine Charoy embarked on a career as a decorator and designer. After working with Janette Laverrière, she went on to work with the Italian master Gio Ponti, from whom she learned the rigours of design. She then met Max Ingrand and was involved in the Verre Lumière adventure from the outset, managing the design office. She has been involved in the design of many Verre Lumière models, including a large pendulum floor lamp, the chrome lamps model 10367, the sofa floor lamp 10592 and the ceiling lamp 20575, which is presented here.
